Amid the thousands of businesses re-opening in the first phase of Ireland’s re-emergence from the coronavirus lockdown, it appears DIY superstore Woodies has emerged the PR winners.
Who knew that spending 8 weeks cooped up in your dwelling would have led to the type of queues and crowds the chain was obviously expecting.
Theres always time for a bit of Irish humour especially at a time like this.
And it appears the hardware chain is doing a brisk trade.
Apparantly some queueing started at 7am, reported in Kildare at the Naas and Newbridge branches.
We realise many other smaller businesses are also re-opening today so if you are please get in touch. Drop us a mail or snap to newsdesk@thebusinessy.news.
